We want our church to have a local and global impact for God’s Kingdom. Our model of ministry relies heavily upon mature, well-trained, and deeply committed lay leaders. Our pastor takes seriously his role as an “equipper” through biblical preaching and teaching, and in providing leadership training. We want believers to grow in faith and serve with purpose. If you’re seeking to be a faithful follower of Jesus, we can help you in that quest. We also can offer you the fellowship of a warm and caring Christian family, with members of all ages and from many different walks of life. Our church is affiliated nationally with the Southern Baptist Convention, but our most meaningful connections and partnerships are through the Minnesota/Wisconsin Baptist Convention, and the Lakeland Baptist Association of Milwaukee.
We offer a Sunday Bible study program for children of all ages. We also provide a number of special ministries for children including VBS, camp for grades 3-6, annual holiday programs and seasonal parties.
We offer a Sunday Bible study program for youth (grades 7-12) at 9:30 a.m., as well as an informal discussion/fellowship group on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. We also provide activities such as retreats, student camp in the summer, and opportunities for service, ministry, and participation in the church’s music, worship and children’s programs.
We offer a Sunday Bible study program at 9:30 a.m. with multiple options. We also have a vibrant senior adult ministry, “Walking with Wisdom adult ministry.” It and other “Life Groups” offer small group fellowship, studies, and seasonal recreational opportunities
You’re invited to be involved in service and evangelism through community outreach. We share in ministry to nursing homes, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Joy House, Operation Christmas Child, and with our denomination’s programs such as disaster relief and support for new churches.
